Our Daily Walk… with God

What does it look like to daily walk with God?
If you’ve ever pondered the notion
Or have already stepped foot in Heavenly oceans
As long as we have breath
An invitation of enormous depths
Is offered to all, bringing life from death!
Walking daily with Jesus has a unique rhythm and grace
It’s not ridiculously fast paced
Or a biting, clawing rat race
It’s a constant awareness of his presence in our space
Sometimes a prompting, sometimes an embrace
It could look like running to seek his face
Or hiding away in disgrace
Whatever our particular pace
He won’t rush ahead
God’s love is patient, He waits!
When we walk daily with awareness of God by our side
There are promises his word lovingly provides
We will walk in freedom, light, and with straight and easy strides
As we faithfully abide
The Holy Spirit resides inside
Fashioning us into Christ’s perfect bride!
But hold on tight, it’s going to be a bumpy ride!
Why?
Because, although God is perfect we’re prone to slip and slide
We have tendencies towards pride
And sometimes we lie, hide and even push God aside!
And although we try and tried
A thousand times to comply
Jesus is always right there with arms open wide!
Shalom! You are loved and made to never walk alone!
