If Christmas Feelz Different This Year…

Seasons Greeting

If this Christmas Season appears
To feel quite different than in previous years
Something heavier in the atmosphere
A chill rushing through our warm heart’s austere
Then just STOP right here!
Let’s adjust our perspective more clear
We can choose faith over fear
After all, Christmas means God is near
Jesus’ birth celebrated with joyous cheers
Because His life saves whosoever has ears to hear
And so, although our worlds might be dark, dim, full of tears
The love of Christ will be our light and strength to persevere
Through whatever circumstance however severe
If we have Jesus we have all we need to commandeer
Any storm, in any sphere
So let’s make the choice to steer
Our thoughts from troubles leer
To Christ all glory revere!
He has come to overcome, in Jesus name all evil disappears
So, even if Christmas feels uncomfortably different this year
Jesus has always been and will always be right here!
