Christmas Time Rhyme ‘25

“It’s Christmas time

Christmas Time Rhyme ‘25

It’s Christmas time
On the Treasure Coast 2025
And despite all the uncertainty, arguing and grime
I refuse to add to that clatter and chime
So I’ll share with you my reasoning rhyme
That subsequently coincides
With our current cultural tide…

This Christmas Time 2025
Just one word I wish emphasize
Though small in size, its power gives us strength to rise
Above all darkness, hurt, and lies

If you uncover its magic you’ll find
This three letter giant stomps out crimes
And because it’s beyond feelings we have inside
It’s not dependent on happenings, others actions, money or time

Its side effects include: a deep peace, sublime
And if under its influence you’ll experience the following surprise
A recurring, sudden urge to smile
Reduced stress, anxiety subsides

And from under depression, you’ll climb
To a place you never thought could go that high!
And so, one little word, JOY, is the wish I have for us in this year’s Christmas rhyme

That JOY would overwhelm our hearts to shine
The love of Christ across divides
After all, JOY is a fruit of staying on the Vine!

It’s Jesus, Others, Self… this powerful order recognized
Beyond surface happiness, Joy’s deep roots abide

The beauty and mystery of JOY overrides
Feelings of hurt, anger or pride
So that the Holy Spirit Who resides
Fills us up with hope Divine
The gift of Jesus presence is JOY’s eternal prize!

Shalom! Merry Christmas loves!

“Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬
