We live in a ‘Now, But Not Yet’ age
That makes it difficult to gauge
How we might best arrange
What takes precedence and what must change
With longings so strange
Only God can assuage
But time marches on all the same
So, if all “things” eventually pass away
How do we use this present stage
To invest in eternity’s priceless domain
Living for other’s tomorrows today
Knowing that God’s Kingdom reign
Is coming soon to rearrange
What we now think holds weight
So, let’s not waste another precious day
The time of salvation IS today!
