Hope Springs

On this lovely first day of Spring
I thought perhaps to bring
A bold prayer to our Lord and King
to ask for a little more hope,
and not just to cope
but to grasp, full scope
the absolute enormity
Of Gods love for you and for me
Forever, in eternal beauty
A hope that makes our hearts sing
Thank you, Jesus, for Your love springs
And flows to where we need it most,
Down a slippery slope
A faith tightrope
Sealed in love’s envelope!
So let’s not sit and mope
Hope springs eternal
And that’s pretty dope!
