a rhyming radiance
Been feeling down?
Look up!
Always wearing a frown?
Look up!
Swimming in a pool of tears drown?
Look up!
Are cries your loudest sound?
Wearing a heavy burden crown?
Think others think you’re a clown?
Look up!
People pushing you around?
Become the gossip of the town?
Misunderstood, unrenowned?
Look up!
Rains continue to pound?
Problems compound?
Troubles surround?
The only way to rebound
Is to look up!
Looking up is where we’re found!
So when your ship’s run aground
Look up to God whose unfailing love abounds!
And He will compassionately bend down
To gently lift you off the ground!
To a place that confounds
High above all life’s clouds!
